The newly released book titled "World Without Fish" by Mark Kurlansky, award-winning writer, is a must read! Mark Kurlansky also wrote the award-winning bestseller Cod: A Biography of the Fish that Changed the World, The Big Oyster: History on the Half Shell, as well as many others.
World Without Fish is written a bit differently than his other marine conservation books. This time around he has written for an audience of nine years of age and up. It contains cartoons and graphics in order to tell the story of the current crisis in the oceans, what would happen in a world without fish, and how to prevent it.
Mark Kurlansky wrote the book with his favorite fishing companion in mind, his daughter. His daughter helped by making sure her father captivated his audience throughout the book.
So pick up a copy and view the ocean crisis from a new perspective. Please share it with the young ones in your life, for they are our future!
